Prototype Testing
Ension maintains an extensive facility for prototype evaluation comprised of an instrumentation laboratory and a testing laboratory. This facility is well-equipped and routinely used to test blood-contacting device prototypes with bovine blood to assess functionality and basic biocompatibility. Ension partners with other institutions when human blood testing is required.
